Deadline for Poster Submission and Acknowledgement of Public Display of Information form is January 13, 2009

Interact with other technology visionaries and leaders who share the mission of MTO to accelerate high-risk/high-payoff innovations that someday will save lives and share with us your thoughts by participating in the Symposium poster session.  All attendees are invited to submit a poster, as outlined below.

(Please note that all Posters not taken down by this time will be disposed of by Symposium staff)

LOCATION

Market Street Foyer
(Second Floor of the Fairmont San Jose Hotel)

POSTER PARTICIPANTS

ALL attendees are invited to submit a poster.  Please note that due to limited room, poster space will be based on a first come, first serve basis.

The Microsystems Technology Symposium is an open event.  All posters must be submitted for public release approval prior to Tuesday, January 13, 2009.  Please see the Public Release section below for details.

Poster Dimensions

Posters should be no larger than 4' ’Wide x 4’ Tall.

  1. Posters will be displayed on peg boards.
  2. Pushpins (provided) can be used to affix posters that are not mounted on foam board.  Any posters which are mounted on foam board should have T pins for display purposes (these items will not be provided).
  3. Space is limited.  Therefore, each person will only be allotted enough room for (1) one poster. 
  4. Bring your poster with you to the Symposium or ship it to yourself at the hotel.
  5. Space for tabletop displays will not be available.

Public Release

DEADLINE for Poster Submission and Acknowledgement of Public Display of Information form: TUESDAY, JANUARY 13, 2009

ALL POSTER SUBMISSIONS must be accompanied by a completed Acknowledgement of Public Display of Information form.

All posters displayed at the Symposium MUST be approved for public release. The standards for this process are as follows:

  1. Posters related to or displaying any DARPA Program: use the standard DARPA Public Release process and complete Acknowledgement of Public Display form.
  2. Posters displaying content or programs receiving the majority of their funding from DOD sources: use the public release process specific to the funding agency and complete Acknowledgement of Public Display form.
  3. Posters displaying content or programs receiving no government funding: only need to complete Acknowledgement of Public Display form.
Please email the completed form to info@mtosymposium.org by January 13, 2009.  Note any final submissions and forms not received by January 13, 2009 will not be “posted” as it takes twenty business days for the DARPA Public Release approval process.
