A visionary technical symposium on advanced microsystems technologies

 

DARPA's Microsystems Technology Office (MTO) will convene a diverse technical and networking program to examine promising new technologies, an assessment of emerging trends, and an overview of the difficult challenges of R&D at the micro-scale.

The battlefield of the future will be complex, uncertain and often asymmetric. Our men and women in uniform must rely on military systems that are robust, interactive, flexible, energy efficient and portable. None of these capabilities would be possible without advancements in microsystems, MEMS, nanotechnologies and other chip-scale innovations.

During the week, MTO Program Managers will share their thoughts about our most unusual and promising research. Throughout the conference, you will interact with other technology visionaries and leaders who share our mission to accelerate game-changing innovations.
