Yeast infection is rarely lethal; but a baby born to a mother who’s infected may contract this ailment and be a victim of oral thrush. Of course, not all pregnant women get yeast infection; but this ailment is so common that many people think of it as a symptom of pregnancy.
Yeast infection can be controlled by just stopping the excessive breeding of internal fungus in the body. Yeast infection can also be treated naturally; however, checking with a doctor before opting for these courses is ideal. Does itchiness fall under the category? When you’re pregnant, you’re home to a lovely baby and sometimes, a dreaded fungus. Yeast infection can happen due to any of these reasons.
You know you’re pregnant when you start missing your period, feel breathless, nauseated and itchy.

Vaginal yeast infections have been experienced at least once by over 70% of all women. They are not life threatening, but they need to be treated because they have very unpleasant symptoms and they won’t go away otherwise. Some women experience recurrent vaginal infections that only go away for short periods of time and then reappear.
Vaginal infections are caused by a bacterium called Candida. This is normally found in the human body, especially in the mouth and the vagina and it doesn’t do any harm. Sometimes, out of various reasons like pregnancy or prolonged courses of antibiotics, Candida overgrows and provokes the vaginal yeast infection. This is because other bacteria normally found in the body, which prevent Candida from overgrowing, are reduced in number and can’t play their part.
Vaginal yeast infections have very nasty symptoms.

Yeast is found in many areas in our bodies at all times. Places like our digestive system, our skin, vagina, and mouth all contain yeast in normal numbers. It is a natural part of our bodies that is usually kept regulated by bacteria in the body. However, sometimes that yeast gets out of control and it can cause oral yeast infections, which happens commonly when the yeast gets out of control in the body.
The main symptom that is experienced by someone suffering from oral yeast infections is a whitish or yellowish coating around the inside of the mouth. The white coating will often give off a yeast-like smell. When the white coating is scraped away, it often reveals red flesh and maybe even some bleeding underneath it. The coating will appear as white patches in some people, and as a solid coating in others.
Yeast infections of the mouth can have a wide variety of causes, but one of the most commonly seen one is when the immune system is suppressed, or if you are taking any strong antibiotics.
